Oddly enough, if I turn off the Twin and only run the X6, the problem disappears and everything operates as expected. When I try to use this with Discord, I get choppy audio that sounds like it ran through a fast noise gate with a very high threshold (or a square wave tremolo). I have an OG Apollo twin in the same system as an X6, using the Twin as a Big Knob controller and headphone amp. I realize that, as Don noted above, this isn't what UA is designing these interfaces for, but OTOH in the current world situation we're all using online conferencing apps a lot, so many of us are using our recording rigs for "other things." Hopefully if someone else encounters this issue it'll help then to know they're not alone. I'm not sure if this is related to the OP's issue, but since it might be I'll post it here. Did you set Discord to see Universal Audio? Here's what I got.Īs you can see, the mic is working fine. That said, I haven't used Discord other than to test it. I registered, downloaded it in a MBP with my Apollo connected. I had not hear of Discord, so off I went to find it. Uh you are about to feel real silly about saying, "I feel like UA should make sure that this feature works out of the box." Sorry, I can't resist, but it is all in good fun. Here is the message that has just been posted:
